Greg receives Lebanese award

Greg will attend two key events in Lebanon this month to recognise his work promoting Lebanese cuisine.

The American University of Technology in Lebanon will host  a major awards ceremony, the first of its kind, to honour key Lebanese chefs around the world and to recognise their achievements in promoting Lebanese cuisine. Greg will be honoured along with other chefs including Phiippe Massoud, chef-patron of ilili restaurant in New York, Clovis Khoury, chef-patron of Maison Clovis in Lyon, and Elias Abi Sara, founder of La Cigale. Local Lebanese celebrity chef, Joe Barza and  several other major players in the Lebanese and International hospitality industry.

Greg will also be attending a dinner at the Australian ambassador's residence in Beirut. His Excellency Lex Bartlem will host the award- winners and international attendees at the ceremony  as well as local dignitaries and VIPs.

 


Turquoise opens in Amman

With a menu based on the recipes from Greg and Lucy Malouf's best selling book of the same name, Turquoise restaurant at Amman's luxurious Landmark Hotel is the latest addition to Jordan's fine dining scene. 

 


Recognition for Brooke Payne
MoMo's head chef Brooke Payne will be reocgnised for her contribution to Australia's food culture in the next edition of the Who's Who of Australian Women. Brooke's career has included stints at some of Australia's most acclaimed restaurants.

 


Greg at The Pantry

Watch out for Greg Malouf at The Pantry in Brighton later in the year. Greg will be giving a masterclass - a rare opportunity to learn form the master of Middle Eastern cuisine.
